I love booking tours when I go on vacation because you get to make the most of your time and do multiple activities in a day. I love that transportation is included and tour guides offer insight about a new place that you might not get otherwise. It is also a very SAFE way to see a new place! Here are 10 of my favorite tours!
#1: Snorkeling with Sea Turtles at Tres Trapi–
The number of sea turtles we saw while snorkeling at Tres Trapi was astonishing. Witnessing these graceful creatures gliding effortlessly through the ocean was epic.
#2: Budapest Danube River Tour
The Danube River tour in Budapest was unforgettable. Seeing the Parliament Building and other landmarks illuminated at night as they reflected on the water was captivating.
#3: Cave Tubing in Belize
It was an incredible experience to go cave tubing in Belize. Learning about the fascinating stories of sacrifices and rituals that took place in the caves, deeply rooted in Mayan culture, was truly captivating. We also enjoyed seeing a beautiful waterfall and spotting bats hiding within the caves. Overall, it was a relaxing and unforgettable adventure.
#4: Sintra, Pena Palace, The End of the World, and Cascais Tour–
The lookout point in the photograph above, once famously known as the End of the World, was one of my favorite stops on this tour! The journey from Lisbon also included visits to the enchanting towns of Sintra and Cascais.
#5: Tour the Colosseum in Rome–
The Colosseum in Rome boasts a fascinating history that includes gladiators, criminals, spectators, and wild animals. Touring this iconic monument and immersing myself in its rich past was truly an epic experience.
#6: Natural Hot Springs in Costa Rica–
We booked a tour to the natural hot springs in Costa Rica, which also included horseback riding and zip-lining. It was an incredibly fun adventure. However, my favorite part by far was relaxing in the soothing natural springs. There’s also an option to indulge in a volcanic mud bath, but you need to rinse off with water before returning to the hot springs.
#7: Red Valley and Rainbow Mountain Tour in Peru–
If you love hiking for breathtaking views, I highly recommend booking the Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley tour in Cusco, Peru. The mountain’s vibrant colors are truly stunning, and the photos will make you feel like you’re on another planet. Just be sure to be mindful of altitude sickness and take the necessary precautions.
#8: Black Sand Beach Tour in Iceland–
Iceland’s South Coast is well known for itsblack sand beaches, including Reynisfjara,which is famous for its volcanic sand and dramatic landscape.
#9: Hofburg Palace and Sisi Museum Tour–
The Hofburg Palace and Sisi Museum tour was one of my favorites in Vienna, Austria. I loved learning about Empress Elisabeth’s fascinating life and tragic ending. Her passions for travel, fashion, and horses were especially interesting to learn about.
#10- Cartagena and Getsemani Neighborhood Tour–
This tour was truly fascinating, and I highly recommend exploring Cartagena with a guided tour, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the city. I felt more comfortable having a guide with us, and the tour allowed me to safely experience and capture the stunning beauty of Cartagena’s neighborhoods!
