#1: Make a Wish at the Trevi Fountain in Rome-

No trip to Italy is complete without tossing a coin into the iconic Trevi Fountain. Legend has it that doing so ensures your return to Rome someday. Marvel at the intricate sculptures and cascading waters of this baroque masterpiece early in the morning or late at night to avoid large crowds. It is estimated that about $3,600 are thrown into the fountain daily, which is donated to charity.

The Hofburg Palace in Vienna served as the imperial residence for the Habsburg dynasty for over six centuries. Our favorite part was visiting the Sisi Museum dedicated to Empress Elisabeth. She is a beloved figure in Austria, known for her beauty, independence, and tragic life. Venture to Ireland’s legendary Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of thousands of interlocking basalt columns formed by volcanic activity.
