This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to lush forests and mist-covered mountains that seem straight out of a fantasy film. The creators of the movie Avatar got inspiration from this national park. Did you know? 999 steps lead to Heaven’s Gate, which is an arch at Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain.
