- New Jersey
- Delaware
- Maryland

#1: Step Back in Time in Plymouth, New Hampshire-
The highlight of my trip to Plymouth was exploring not only its charming historic downtown but also visiting the beautifully preserved historic homes that serve as museums. These sites offer a captivating glimpse into the architecture and way of life from earlier eras. In addition, you can go hiking in the White Mountains or go kayaking.
#2: White-Water Rafting in Lake George-

If you want a rush, try white-water rafting in Lake George. Tom and I had so much fun as we navigated the exhilarating rapids, surrounded by the stunning Adirondack Mountains.
#3: Try Your Luck at a Saratoga Horse Race-

Step into the historic Saratoga Race Course in New York, one of the oldest thoroughbred racetracks in the country. Experience the thrill as world-class horses thunder past the finish line. I only ever won $5.00 at the races—a fun reminder that betting is always a gamble!
#4: Admire the Gingerbread Cottages at Oak Bluffs in Martha’s Vineyard-

Escape to Martha’s Vineyard, a New England island renowned for its stunning beaches, historic lighthouses, and charming villages. I’ve visited twice—my first trip was sunny and relaxing, as we enjoyed the beaches and marveled at the charming gingerbread cottages. We arrived at Oak Bluffs via the ferry, grabbed a bite to eat, and then headed to Edgartown, where we enjoyed shopping and indulged in some delicious fudge. (don’t miss Murdick’s!). One of the highlights was visiting South Beach at the island’s southern tip. My second visit was rainy- a perfect reminder to always check the weather before planning your trip, but even then, Martha’s Vineyard’s timeless beauty was unforgettable.
#5: See the Lighthouses in Cape Cod-

Cape Cod has picturesque beaches, quaint towns, and iconic lighthouses. Take a scenic drive along the Cape Cod National Seashore or go whale watching in Provincetown. We spotted a seal swimming right off the beach!
#6: Sail at Sunset at Beach Haven, New Jersey-

Tom and I travel to Beach Haven every year, and it’s always wonderful. Highlights include relaxing on the sandy beaches, jet skiing, playing mini golf, sailing at sunset, and watching the sunrise over the ocean.

One year, we even tried Goat Yoga in Beach Haven—a unique and memorable experience!
We recommend the following places to eat:

- Triton Craft Beer and Oyster Bar
- Pearl Street Market
- Howard’s Seafood Restaurant

- Dockside Diner
#7: Watch the Sunset at the Beach in the Hamptons, New York-

The Hamptons are every bit as gorgeous as you’ve heard—think golden beaches, fancy wineries, and laid-back towns. I loved watching sunsets on the beach, wine tasting at Wölffer Estate, and visiting exclusive bars in Montauk.
#8: Go to the Empire State Building in New York City-

No East Coast bucket list is complete without experiencing the energy of New York City. Visit the Empire State Building, stroll through Central Park, see a Broadway show, and indulge in world-class dining.
#9: See the Portland Head Light in Maine-

See the Portland Head Light, the charming coastal town of Bar Harbor, and book a boat tour to observe marine wildlife.
#10: Book a Sailing Tour in Newport, Rhode Island-

This year, I’m celebrating my birthday in Newport! We’re skipping the fancy hotels and camping instead (because, wow, those hotel prices!). Newport has some of the best waterfront views I’ve seen. We’re booking a sailing tour for the full experience.
