A bucket list will keep you motivated to reach your travel goals. Here are some travel-related bucket list items that I have completed and loved. I share everything from swimming with whale sharks in the Philippines to seeing the iconic Mayan Ruins in Belize, so without further ado, here are 22 travel bucket list ideas!

#1- See the Ancient Mayan Ruins in Belize-

The Mayan Ruins are a must-see if you are ever in Belize. The history of this ancient site is fascinating, from human sacrifices to blood rituals; the stories will leave you in awe. Mayans believed in many gods. There is a god for everything: sun, moon, fertility, rain, weather, etc.  BOOK THE TOUR

#2- Swim with Whale Sharks in the Philippines-

Swim with massive whale sharks in Cebu, Philippines, for one of the most incredible experiences you will have in your entire life. Their size will leave you speechless. BOOK THE TOUR

#3- Relax at the Natural Budapest Baths-

Budapest is a city renowned for its natural thermal springs. You will find hot springs all over the city. Soaking in them has incredible benefits for your skin. We went to the Gellert Baths on our last day in Budapest. We relaxed at the indoor and outdoor pools and enjoyed champagne throughout the day. BOOK TICKETS

#4- See a Classical Concert in Vienna, Austria

I swear by booking a classical concert in Vienna. We saw opera, classical music, orchestra, and ballet. It left us in tears and was phenomenal. Attending a concert will offer a chance to experience the city’s rich musical heritage. BOOK TICKETS

#6- Boat Tour through the Beautiful Cliffs and Beaches in Lagos, Portugal-

The massive golden cliffs near the beautiful turquoise waters were stunning! The best way to experience this is on a kayak or boat tour! You will see impressive rock formations, caves, and hidden beaches. BOOK THE TOUR

#8- Take a Scenic Train Ride Through Switzerland-

One of the best ways to see the scenic views of mountains and lakes is by train through the country! Several famous panoramic routes, including the Glacier Express and the Bernina Express, showcase the country’s landscapes from valleys and glaciers to alpine villages and lakes. We took the train ride to the Alps from Lucerne, but it was quite cloudy at the top, so we didn’t get to see the stunning mountainous views. However, during the boat ride, we enjoyed beautiful sights of the lakes and mountains since we weren’t so high up! BOOK THE TRAIN RIDE

#9- Visit KRKA National Park in Croatia-

The stunning lakes and waterfalls of Krka National Park create a breathtaking natural spectacle. The park is adorned with seven travertine waterfalls. We even went swimming after walking to all of the falls. The water was warm and relaxing. BOOK THE DAY TRIP FROM SPLIT

#10- Swim at Magens Bay in Saint Thomas-

Magens Bay offers a pristine, turquoise beach perfect for relaxing and swimming. The mile-long stretch of soft, white sand and beach bar nearby make for the perfect day! I got the mudslide and it was delicious! GET DIRECTIONS
