Top 10 Caribbean Bucket List Ideas

The Caribbean is the place to go when you need a break from your everyday life. There is nothing quite like the laid-back culture and friendly locals of the Caribbean. The islands have beautiful marine life, including dolphins, rays, turtles, and rainbow-colored tropical fish. The sunsets are breathtaking! Here is the top 10 Caribbean bucket list ideas.

#1: Have a Mudslide or Pina Colada at Magens Bay in Saint Thomas-

Magens Bay is a beautiful turquoise beach in Saint Thomas with a beach bar.

#2: Jump into Cenotes at Scape Park in Punta Cana-

Scape Park is one of the coolest places I have been because there are incredible natural wonders to explore and adventurous activities, from jumping into cenotes to swimming in a cave or zip lining!

List of Activities at Scape Park:

Zip Lining- Feel the adrenaline as you advance through the sky!

Cave Expedition- Meet the wonders that lie beneath the earth!

-Cenotes– Hoyo Azul and Las Ondas are crystal-clear lagoons or cenotes fed from an underground water source.

-Saltos Azules-

Saltos Azules is a pool and waterfall created from a natural cave. There are diving platforms, hanging zip lines, and a Tarzan swing at Saltos Azules.

#3: Stingray City in Antigua-

This is a TOP activity in Antigua where you gently glide amongst beautiful stingrays! You can hold one, take a photo, and feed the rays squid! This activity is extremely safe as long as you follow the guidelines.

#4: Infinite Pool at Sheer Rocks in Antigua-

Imagine enjoying a Pina colada or margarita in an infinite pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea. An infinity pool is a swimming pool where the water flows over one or more edges, producing a visual effect of water with no boundary. You can relax at an infinite pool anywhere in the Caribbean, but my favorite spot is at a restaurant called Sheer Rocks. Their cocktails and food are delicious!

#5: See the Infamous Pitons in Saint Lucia-

There is so much to see and do in Saint Lucia, so I recommend getting it all done in a day on a tour! This tour will take you to the beautiful pitons from a stunning lookout point, a drive-in volcano, a few waterfalls, a mud bath, and the incredible botanical gardens home to the Sulphur Hot Springs.

Drive-In Volcano and Mud Bath-

The first stop on the tour is the only drive-in volcano in the world. You can witness a bubbling steam crater through the windows of your car. Dive into a rejuvenating mud bath afterward, where the earth’s natural healing powers detoxify your body.

Visit the Botanical Gardens, Diamond Falls, and the Sulphur Hot Springs

The gardens have stunning tropical plants, a waterfall called Diamond Falls, and mineral water that you can relax at called the Sulphur Hot Springs for an extra fee. The hot water from the natural minerals is relaxing. Hot springs are said to heal your body!

See the majestic Pitons or the twin towering peaks-

The Pitons are a famous landmark that is hard to miss in St. Lucia. They are two mountainous volcanos that are around half a mile high.

Take a dip at Toraille’s breathtaking waterfall-

Do not forget your swimsuit because you can swim at Toraille’s Waterfall!

#6: Palm Island in Aruba-

Palm Island was our BEST day trip in Aruba because not only did we see flamingos crossing the beach, but we also got to enjoy the waterslides, go snorkeling with millions of fish, and enjoy all-inclusive food and drinks for the day! We even got to ride on a banana boat!

#7: Sea Bob Snorkeling-

We recommend booking the Turtle Cove Sea Bob Snorkeling experience in Antigua! We booked this activity TWICE and we saw sea turtles on both occasions!!! The photo above is from our Sea Bob Snorkel experience in Aruba at Mango Halto Beach. This is also an incredible trip to book!

#8: Jet Ski to the Historic Shipwreck in Turks and Caicos-

The famous La Famille Express shipwreck in the Turks and Caicos is a must-see. This landmark is about two miles off Long Bay Beach in the Southeast. We embarked on an exhilarating jet ski adventure to a historic shipwreck, where we were lucky enough to encounter playful wild dolphins. To top it off, I had the thrilling experience of leaping off the shipwreck into the sparkling waters below!

#9: Horseback Riding on the Beach in Turks and Caicos-

Horseback riding on the beach is a fun, unique, and calming adventure that I highly recommend. Book a tour to ride along the beautiful beaches of Turks and Caicos.

#10: Walk up Dunn’s River Falls in Jamaica-

WOW! It was an incredible experience to walk up Dunns River Falls. Initially, I had my doubts—what if I slipped and fell? However, the guides made us feel safe.

Bonus: Swim with Dolphins at Coral World Ocean Park in Saint Thomas-

There is nothing like swimming amongst the smartest creatures in the sea!
