10 Countries to Add to Your Bucket List


Traveling creates unforgettable memories and adventures. You can explore historical sites, try new cuisines, or simply relax in a beautiful setting. Ultimately, it broadens your worldview and inspires a greater appreciation for the beauty of our planet. This post is based on places I recommend and have traveled to. Here are 10 countries to add to your bucket list.
#1: USA-
I have visited 30 States so far in the United States. There are countless incredible trips you can go on within this country, from exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Arches National Park, Antelope Canyon, and the Grand Canyon on the West Coast to witnessing the vibrant fall foliage, New York City, and Martha’s Vineyard on the East Coast.

My personal favorites include journeys to California, where I enjoyed wine tasting in Napa Valley and kayaking along the stunning Emerald Lake in Lake Tahoe.

I also cherish my most recent trip to the Midwest, where I explored the awe-inspiring Carlsbad Caverns, the surreal White Sands National Park, and the beautiful Guadalupe Mountains. For a relaxing beach escape, Miami, Florida, is a must-visit. You can also add Fort Lauderdale to your bucket list because you can book a boat trip to see Alligators along the Everglades National Park. Disneyland in Orlando is great, especially for kids.

#2: Canada-

I always love traveling to Canada, from seeing the infamous Niagara Falls to exploring the vibrant cities, including Toronto and Montreal. Places in Canada that are on my bucket list include Banff National Park and Vancouver. Banff looks absolutely gorgeous in photos, and I can only imagine what it would be like to kayak through the turquoise lakes surrounded by the majestic mountains.

#3: Italy-

I do not have enough great words to say about Italy. This country is one of the most beautiful in Europe. Don’t miss going on a gondola ride through the canals and bridges of Venice, visiting the David Statue and Duomo in Florence, and relaxing at the beaches of Cinque Terre. A trip to the Amalfi Coast, Milan, Lake Como, and the Dolomites is also worth adding to your Italy bucket list. The food is nothing short of incredible, from fresh limoncello to cappuccinos, pizza, and pasta. If you love history and architecture, be sure to visit the Colosseum in Rome as well as the Trevi Fountain!

Rio de Janeiro is best known for the famous Christ the Redeemer Statue, the cable car ride to Sugarloaf Mountain, the Selarón Steps, and the Carnival event. The beaches are stunning, including the two most famous ones: Copacabana and Ipanema.

#5: Peru-

Peru is a captivating country renowned for its incredible sites, such as Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, Ollantaytambo, Maras, the Moray Ruins, and the historic city of Cusco. You’ll enjoy an exciting journey exploring their rich culture and fascinating history. Be sure not to miss the exhilarating hike to the legendary Lake Humantay! The alpacas roaming throughout the country are so delightful to watch.

#6: Colombia-

Cartagena is a beautiful city along the Caribbean coast. The water is a stunning turquoise, and relaxing at Playa Blanca was absolutely delightful. We loved exploring the vibrant neighborhoods, including Getsemaní and the historic walled city. At the Parque Del Centenario, we were lucky to spot sloths and monkeys, which made the experience even more memorable. The highlight of our trip was visiting the Rosario Islands, where we enjoyed pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. Additionally, unwinding by the pool at Sophia Rooftop was a fantastic way to relax and take in the stunning views.

#7: Aruba-
Aruba is one of the best Caribbean islands to visit, offering a variety of unforgettable experiences. You can take a day trip to Palm Island, relax at the beautiful Baby Beach, or embark on an exciting sea turtle snorkeling adventure. The island features diverse landscapes, including a desert-like terrain perfect for horseback riding and stunning natural bridges to explore. Additionally, you can visit the intriguing Indian Caves and swim in the natural pool known as Conchi.

#8: Punta Cana, Dominican Republic-
Punta Cana is another fantastic Caribbean destination. My favorite day trip was to Scape Park, where we explored a cenote and swam inside a cave—an exhilarating experience! We also had the adorable opportunity to hold a baby squirrel monkey. I loved snorkeling in Punta Cana, as well as relaxing at our all-inclusive resort. During our adventures, we swam with nurse sharks and spotted a stingray, making the trip truly unforgettable.

#9: Turks and Caicos-
The Turks and Caicos are renowned for their conch meat—absolutely delicious! You can also relax on one of their many stunning beaches, characterized by their turquoise waters. I loved the soft white sand, swaying palm trees, and warm 90-degree weather. Don’t miss the opportunity to go on a horseback riding tour along the beaches; it was one of the most incredible experiences of my trip! My favorite day was spent jet skiing to a shipwreck, where we spotted wild dolphins along the way! SO FUN AND COOL!

#10- Bali-
Bali is one of the most incredible and unique destinations I have ever visited. From exploring the breathtaking rice terraces and experiencing the Bali swing to relaxing on turquoise beaches, every moment was unforgettable. We loved visiting the monkey sanctuary, but be careful with your belongings—our water bottle was stolen! Everything about this trip was truly special, from hiking up Mount Batur at sunrise to exploring the temples built from volcanic rock.
