First of all, I want to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! May you have the best year filled with happiness, health, success, and travel. Every year, I create a vision board and set new goals and intentions for the year in various categories. One of the categories is TRAVEL! We share some travel-related goals that you can add to your vision board for 2024 in this post! At the bottom, I will share my personal 2024 travel goals, which are more specific because I already have flights booked for the year. Below is the travel bucket list for 2024.
#1: Visit One of the Seven Wonders of the World-
The seven wonders of the world are iconic! Who doesn’t want to witness one this year?
What are the seven wonders of the world?
1-Great Wall of China–book your tour!
Learn about the history and find epic picture-perfect spots along the wall with a private tour!.
2-Chichén Itzá, Mexico– book your tour
Experience Chichén Itzá and the charming colonial city of Valladolid on a guided tour.
3-Petra, Jordan-Book your Tour
Petra is an abandoned city discovered by a Swiss Explorer named Johann in 1812. Thousands of years ago, Petra, in southern Jordan, was thriving. The temples, tombs, and other elaborate buildings carved from the mountainside are incredible. The most famous is the ancient treasury, as shown in the photo above, a sandstone temple. It is the most intricate, beautiful building to see. The best way to see Petra is by booking a tour. Tours are great because the guides have SOOOO much insight into the history, architecture, and people that once lived there.
4-Machu Picchu, Peru– Book a Day Trip!
Machu Picchu is an Inca citadel from the 15th century at 7,970 feet above sea level. Opting for a guided tour is a great way to learn about its construction and history.
5-Christ the Redeemer, Brazil–Book Your Tour!
Book an 8-hour tour of the city which will take you to see the Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf Mountain. Book Your Tour!
6-Colosseum– Book your Tour
The Colosseum MUST be on your Italy BUCKET LIST! The main amphitheater dates back to AD 72. A small group tour is the best way to see the building because you can skip the line, but also because they will teach you about the gladiator fights that once took place inside. Gladiators would not only fight each other but also ferocious animals! Criminals would be fed to the starving animals, too.
7-Taj Mahal, India- Book a Day Trip
The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum in Agra, India, for two people, Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Emperor Shah Jahan began the project in 1632 for this purpose. There is a marble tomb in the center. The marble building and precious stones represent romance. Book a Day Trip

Road trips, in my opinion, are SO much fun because you can blast your favorite music, listen to a podcast, or socialize with your friends for hours on end until you get to your destination. The best road trip that I have ever gone on in my life was through Utah and Arizona. WOW! Utah and Arizona are the MOST beautiful states in the USA! If you go on a road trip through these states, visit the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park!

Find a Hotel Near You!
#10: Go on an African Safari-
This African safari experience is one for the books because you will spot incredible wildlife and have a private tour guide. You will see black rhinos, lions, zebras, giraffes, and more!
