#1: Beach Day

The LBI beaches are the main reason people travel to Beach Haven. They are not as crowded as boardwalk beaches in other towns. The ocean reminds me of the Caribbean with crystal-clear green-ish waters. At low tide, you will have sand bars to relax on.  

#2: Fishing

Beach Haven presents you with a golden opportunity to go fishing. Fishing charters are available on both the Atlantic Ocean and the Barnegat Bay. We went to the Barnegat pier at night, and the person next to us caught a shark. 

#3: Food/Drinks

–Triton Craft Beer and Oyster Bar- You can enjoy fresh oysters, crab, shrimp, lobster, and beyond at the Triton Craft Beer and Oyster Bar. The selection of craft beers is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the environment is trendy.

-Shore Good Donuts- You cannot leave Beach Haven without trying a donut at Shore Good Donuts. These were the best donuts of my life because they are made to order and are fresh.

-Dockside Diner- The Dockside Diner has been an LBI staple for over a decade, with satisfied customers walking through the doors every season. We loved the food we ordered and couldn’t recommend getting breakfast or lunch at the Dockside Diner enough.

#4: Goat Yoga

#5: Surfing

There are surfing instructors who can’t wait to teach you how to surf in LBI. Soon you will find yourself riding big waves on the Atlantic Ocean. 

#6: Amusement Parks

–Thundering Surf Waterpark- SLIDES! There are a lot of water slides and pools to enjoy at Thundering Surf Waterpark. Did I forget to mention? Thundering Surf Waterpark features a lazy river that you can relax in on your tube and a wave pool.
–Fantasy Island Amusement Park- This park features a teacup ride and has many other activities. Admission is free; however, you will have to pay per ride. This place is great for kids.

#7: Sunset/ Sunrise

Do not miss the sunrise on the Atlantic beach at 6:13 am and set at the bay at 7:47 pm.

#8: Sail at Sunset

You will not regret sailing at sunset on Long Beach Island. You will enjoy the calm waters and spectacular sunset. 

#9: Jet Skiing

The ocean is your playground when you rent from Beach Haven Watersports. You can rent kayaks, jet skis, pontoon boats, and paddle boards.

#10: Kayaking

No vacation is complete without kayaking. You can guide your adventure with a half-day rental! 

#11: Mini-Golf

The best place to golf is at Settler’s Mill Adventure Golf. The mini-golf course features a spectacular waterfall and a cave course. 

#12: The Lighthouse

The top of the Barnegat Lighthouse offers a panoramic view of Barnegat Bay and Long Beach Island. The lighthouse is open every day from 10 am to 4:30 pm.

#13: Bike Riding

Renting bikes is a great way to exercise, explore the community, and enjoy the weather.

Black Pearl Pirate Tours began sailing Little Egg Harbor summer of 2010. You will enjoy the breeze, water, and sunset view. The tour has fully stocked cocktails and drinks and a DJ to keep you entertained.
